Elmer Duplantis *

Regional Vice President of Region 13 for 2003 - 2006
President of Delta Daylily Society 1997 - 2000  and during the 1998 National Convention in Lafayette, La.
Over 800 persons attended "Pelican State in '98" making it, many believe, the largest AHS Convention by attendance, ever held.

*Mr. Elmer Duplantis passed away suddenly in July of 2006.

In the fall of 2006, the AHS Board of Directors voted to award Elmer and his lovely wife, Myrtis the 2007 Regional Service Award for Region 13 in recognition and appreciation of their outstanding service to their region and the daylily.

William C. Monroe

Bill brought the massive database of registered cultivars of the American Hemerocallis Society into the computer era. His conversion of the paper records and work with his father Bill Monroe, Sr. have made an extensive world of information available today by computer.
